Progressive farmer, District President of the Farmers' Association, leader of the State Sugarcane Growers' Association, and Director of the Karnataka Cooperative Sugar Factory, Bhuvaneshwar Basavanneppa Shidlapur, was honoured with the "Sarvottama Seva Ratna State Award" in recognition of his outstanding contribution to social service, relentless efforts for farmers' welfare, and commitment to the promotion of Kannada language and culture.
The award was presented during the State-level Poets' Literary Conference organized by the Karnataka Kavyashree Charitable Trust in Haveri.
The award was presented by the Trust's State President, Dr. G. Shivanna. Eminent literary personalities, including Dr. Satish Kulkarni, Dr. Ramesh Mahadevappanavar, Dr. H.V. Belagali, and Dr. Shantanna Y. Kadiwal, along with several distinguished guests, were present on the occasion.
Speaking at the event, the dignitaries appreciated Bhuvaneshwar Shidlapur's dedicated service to society and his unwavering efforts in safeguarding the interests of farmers. They described his achievements as an inspiration to others and congratulated him on receiving the prestigious honour.
